Style commentator, columnist, and stylist, Elizabeth Clarke has been treading her own path through the fashion industry for over twenty years. She is a regular contributor to Fairfax publications both in print and online, and is the Founding Director of the Fashion Film Festival supported by Harper's BAZAAR. Elizabeth has styled and written about fashion for over twenty years. In the early days, she fetched coffee for fashion scribe Plum Sykes at British Vogue, pinned dresses on Princess Diana at The Chelsea Design Co., and pressed Steve Irwin’s khakis for The Discovery Channel’s The Crocodile Hunter. She has styled dozens of television commercials including Mercedes Benz (Europe), Hutchison Mobile (Hong Kong), Ahura Resorts (Fiji), and talked all things stylish on the Nine and Seven Networks. Elizabeth has hosted exclusive fashion showings nationally for Burberry, Bulgari and Gucci, and roadshows for multi-brand retailers Robby Ingham and Belinda Seper. She has co-hosted product launches with Donna Hay, Miranda Kerr, Megan Gale and Sex and the City’s Candace Bushnell, and presented styling workshops for QueensPlaza (Brisbane), Claremont Quarter (Perth) and Myer and Westfield nationally. Elizabeth has conducted her popular How to Dress workshops nationally for ten years and counts KPMG (Sydney), Mirvac and Network Ten (Brisbane) amongst her corporate clients. Whilst living in Brisbane, she penned the popular Style Counsel column for The Courier Mail’s Qweekend Magazine for six years, and has written features stories for ELLE (Australia), Grazia (international) and Studio Bambini. Elizabeth currently resides near the beach in her adopted home city of Perth with her husband, children, dog and beloved collection of Saint Laurent shoes.
