Based in Brazil, I have been covering science, environment, human rights and politics since 2007. As a freelance I have been reporting from Latin America for FairPlanet since 2019 and have also features on BBC Future, ((o))eco, Ciência Hoje, The Beam and others. I was a 2021 mentee of Solution Journalism Mentorship Program, editor of the dossier Fishery: Latin America, published in 2022 by FairPlanet, and author of the e-book "Transição Energética: Como estamos e para onde vamos" (Energy Transition: Where we are and where we're going), published by ((o))eco in 2024 with the support of Climate Tracker. I have been to field reporting both in the Brazilian and Ecuadorian Amazon (filmmaking at the Sarayaku territory), as well as Brazilian Pantanal and a Quilombola community in São Francisco River.
