Biography

Emma Hinchliffe is a general assignment reporter on the Metro desk at the Houston Chronicle with the Hearst Journalism Fellowship program. She graduated from Georgetown University in May with a major in government and minors in journalism and French. At Georgetown, Emma served as editor-in-chief of The Hoya, Georgetown’s newspaper of record. Toward the end of her time in D.C., she interned for USA TODAY in the Money section. She has also worked as a municipal beat reporter for The Bergen Record in northern New Jersey, an editorial intern for the parenting website Babble.com and an interactive editorial intern for SiriusXM Radio.
