I’m a novelist, essayist, and journalist based in Seattle, Washington. You can find my writing in places like The Daily Beast, The Seattle Times, and The Millions. After graduating from Yale I worked for ten years as an environmental engineer, cleaning up polluted sites on both sides of the Cascades. I also play guitar in PNW bands and jazz combos.
