Biography

Farrah Anderson is a freshman studying journalism at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Anderson is currently working as a Features and Longform reporter at The Daily Illini, the independent student newspaper at the University of Illinois, and a magazine writer with The Collective Magazine on campus. She is also a student reporter at Illinois Public Media producing multimedia content focused on audio storytelling. She is also working as an adviser for The Wall Street Journal’s Noted, a new digital magazine focused on news and culture content for consumers ages 18-34. In the past, she worked as a freelance reporter for The Commercial-News in Danville, Illinois, and reported for The News-Gazette in Champaign-Urbana as a student reporter during high school.
