Nasci em Salvador, a terceira maior cidade do Brasil, no ano de 1983, e me formei em jornalismo pela Universidade Federal da Bahia. Trabalhei como repórter dos jornais soteropolitanos Correio da Bahia e A Tarde. Na cidade de São Paulo, a partir do ano de 2011, trabalhei como repórter das revistas Imprensa e IstoÉ, e fiz parte da equipe de comunicação do Museu AfroBrasil. Desde 2015, faço parte da redação do UOL, maior portal de notícias do Brasil, onde sou coordenador do núcleo de jornalismo investigativo.
