Biography
I'm Frankie and I have been a sports nut my entire life. As a kid, the dream was always to work in the field of sports, but I didn't know what that could be. I wasn't all that good and I just didn't enjoy dedicating all that time to playing hockey. I thought it could be cool to write about sports and cover them, but I never really knew how. 613 Sports in Ottawa was looking for someone to cover the Ottawa Redblacks in 2019 and I jumped at the opportunity. Looking back on it now, my writing was terrible. The stuff I was writing was missing something. I dropped out of the marketing program I was in at Algonquin College and joined Journalism. Since then, I have started two podcasts called the 13th Man Sports Live Show and Hockey Prospect Report and have left 613 Sports to cover the Ottawa 67's and the OHL with The Hockey Writers. I'm just getting started.
