Biography

I'm an Australian journalist reporting on Afghanistan and the wider South Asia and Middle East region. My area of expertise is Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran. I have spent several years traveling to and working independently from that region. From my base in Kabul, I wrote numerous feature stories, many of which appeared in leading Australian newspapers. Since last year, I have been living in Prague, Czech Republic where I have been working as a staff reporter/correspondent for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, an American media organization. I regularly write features, investigative reports, op-eds, analysis, and blogs which appear both in a broadcasting and print/online format.
