It became a daily on 4th Septemnber 1970. The current directors include Deokisan Sarda, Rameshwar Sarda, Vikram Sarda and Janak Sarda. Deshdoot is an established Marathi daily in North Maharashtra, India; comprising the five districts of Nashik, Jalgaon, Dhule, Nandurbar and Ahmednagar. The flagship edition was published in Nashik. Since then, the paper has grown steadily across North Maharashtra. The newspaper's parent company, Deshdoot group of Publications, also publishes The Deshdoot Times (the English daily in Nashik), and Sarvamat (a marathi daily in Ahmednagar). True to its mission of enriching lives by informing, voicing, entertaining & educating the common man. Over the years, Deshdoot has become a trusted name amongst households across North Maharashtra.
