Biography

Gillian Russo is a New York City-based digital journalist, writer, and editor specializing in theatre and arts content. She is the U.S. associate editor at TodayTix Group, writing for various digital platforms including TodayTix and New York Theatre Guide, so her day-to-day consists of just that. She is an alumna of Fordham University with a B.A. in (fittingly) journalism and theatre. Though her passions lie in arts and entertainment, her portfolio also includes hard news reporting, opinion writing, sports and health writing, social media content creation, and multimedia content including photography, videography, and even a little graphic design. She has held positions as a theatre reviewer and editor for Plays To See and as the online editor (among other roles) of Fordham Lincoln Center's newspaper, The Observer, and has held internships at Study Breaks, Backstage Magazine, Broadway Brands, and Mood of Living in New York, as well as Voices Newspaper in her home state of Connecticut.
