Biography

I love experiencing the world through adventure, food, and travel. It is my passion to help others experience that as well. Through a well-edited video, individuals can enjoy a world they may have never gotten the chance to experience on their own. I want to bring these experiences to others through videos, social media, and story-telling. This developed my love and passion for communications and began my journey as a communications professional. I am currently an associate editor for iHeartMedia. I write several news articles and interest pieces each day to be published to various websites and social media platforms. I oversee blog posting for a radio station, create social media copy, and schedule social media content using Social Flow. I have extensive experience in news production. I assisted the executive producer in finding and writing stories and edited existing stories for various news segments. In addition, I edited videos, including VOs, SOTs, and packages, worked as a server operator, created graphics, and worked as the weekend technical news director. I am fortunate to have a foundation in a company in which I was able to wear many hats and grow my skill set. I have internship experience managing sixteen different social media accounts for CM Rubin World using Hootsuite. In this role, I also created videos for social media platforms using Lumen5. I worked closely with the company owner to develop new strategies for gaining followers, developing intriguing content, and keeping the followers informed about and interested in a new radio show.
