It was identified that the community were being under-represented in the radio market across Lancaster & Morecambe - so a group of volunteers teamed up to bring 103.5 Beyond Radio to the airwaves by means of a community broadcast licence. The station launched in August 2016. As well as a great mix of music and a variety of community based shows, Beyond Radio is also committed to working with local businesses and organisations to provide a value for money, low cost form of advertising.
