Halley is video journalist and producer with National Geographic. She hosts, writes, and edits responsive social videos for an audience of nearly 300 million. Before National Geographic, she worked as an associate producer on the Vox video team where she primarily managed research and produced stories for Missing Chapter, a series focused on underreported history. She has also worked on stories about science, sports, international news, domestic politics, and culture. She joined Vox in 2021 as part of the Vox Fellowship Program and her reporting has been recognized by the Online Journalism Awards multiple times since then. Halley has a degree in journalism & mass communications and women's, gender, & sexuality studies from The George Washington University. She currently lives in Washington, DC, with her husband and their dog.
