Helen is an avid writer pursuing a master’s degree in multi-platform journalism at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland. She graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a B.A. in English and a concentration in Latin American Studies, in 2014. Helen was privileged to spend Hillary Term 2013 at the University of Oxford’s Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies, researching the history and construction of gender in the works of authors from Shakespeare to Tolkien.
