H.R. Grimm, is “retired again” to that old man curse of having a story about everything. Sadly, this has left him with a bio that is a run-on sentence as follows: After 6 years experience serving as a County Veterans Service Officer (VSO), following retiring at 60 yo from the Army Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve having been a SGT and finally as a Major, having experienced something like the “Babylonian Captivity Tour” of OIFIII (it is my personal suggestion to NOT volunteer for any War when one is in their50s), spending a total of 7 months as an Army Patient, being the recipient of the “free parking pass” as a Disabled Veteran from numerous issues including enough strategically placed titanium to feel every weather front from Earth to Mars, having had 11 years as a volunteer Police Chaplain, most of a decade doing MH in a prison, having served 6 Congregations as “Senior Pastor” (they were small and I was the only one but it sounds much more impressive), having earned the credentials as a LPCC, LSW, LICDC, earning Masters Degree, BA, Biblical Studies, and two years through Ashland Seminary branch studying Pastoral Counseling, as well as attempting to perfect the skill to avoid getting on my wife’s proverbial “last nerve” or jumping into the Driver’s seat for another short requested drive to wherever “You are driving me crazy” is I’m accused of trying to get her. Now, by sequestering myself in a barn rescuing 1952 Ford 8n tractors, finding the challenge to control any symptom that might vaguely seem a residual effect of being one who played like crazy and now finds this trip ain’t been nothing like the travel brochures!
