Biography
I am a journalist based in Indian administered Kashmir. I am a gold medalist and post graduate in mass communications and journalism from Islamic University of Science and Technology Awantipora. During my five years of experience i have been writing for local, national and international media. My write ups have been regularly published by Moneycontrol, Frontline Magazine, Mint, Deccan Herald, Article 14, Quartz, Vice, The Wire, The Quint. From 2016 October to July 2019 I have worked as staff correspondent with Greater Kashmir newspaper. I was also working as reporting fellow with Kashmir Walla magazine. In the year 2020 I worked as Online Editor with The Rising Kashmir newspaper. I also upload podcasts and my regular podcasts are available on Spotify, google podcasts and others. My interest is also in video stories and i have done many video stories and those are available on YouTube. Besides that i am also a voice over artist and I work with All India Radio Srinagar.
