Biography

Isaac Windes is an Early Childhood Education reporter for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. He previously covered schools and colleges in Southeast Texas for the Beaumont Enterprise. He is a graduate of the Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. He was recently based in Washington D.C. as a sustainability reporter for Cronkite News, a division of Arizona PBS, and a sustainability fellow at Zocalo Public Square in Los Angeles. He has experience covering political campaigns at the award-winning college publication The State Press at Arizona State University and has also covered various state politics issues at the Arizona Capitol Times. Expertise and coverage areas include water policy, voting trends, construction projects and protests. He studied Journalism in London and Israel in the summer of 2017, focusing on social media culture, water issues and foreign reporting. He also studied sustainability issues in Greece in the summer of 2018.
