Biography

I read a lot of books as a teen. I loved to read H.G. Wells, Jules Verne, Asimov, Arthur Conan Doyle, Ray Bradbury, also I read The Godfather Books 1 and 2, and a slew of other works, none academic. I did it because I liked it. I tested out of Concord High because the environment there is caustic. Violent students, and insults, and unchecked bullying. Someone had set fire to the wonderful library they'd had. After I got out of high school I got unskilled night work, and then I became schizophrenic and had to be on medication, and from then on people didn't attribute intelligence. And, much of the time I really was a fool. I became what everyone said I was. Finally, in the 1990's, I started to come out of that. I became computer literate and began web browsing and writing on a used PC. I decided I was good enough to compete as a writer, and why shouldn't I? Since then, I've worked at it. And worked and worked. I've generated a lot of garbage and some amount of good stuff. I sell books on LULU. I figured I didn't present well enough or have an adequate background to approach a literary agency.. LULU isn't much money, but it is the easiest most direct method of having a book published and potentially salable. The theme of my life is, someone who doesn't know what he's doing, but keeps trying anyway. Every possible mistake has been made and one hopes will not be made again. And I will keep trying...
