Jack Brubaker is a free-lance writer, formerly an investigative reporter for LNP, the daily newspaper in Lancaster, Pa. He continues to write a Sunday column, The Scribbler, about Lancaster County's history and culture for LNP and Lancaster Online. He has written seven books, including "Remembering Lancaster County'' and "Massacre of the Conestogas.'' He also has written articles for American History, Civil War Times, Pennsylvania Heritage and other magazines.
