Company Info

MedWorks Media

MedWorks Media Inc. is a digital & print publisher of some of the most prominent science education journals and special educational projects, which circulate to more psychiatrists, psychopharmacologists, and the larger medical community than any other publisher in the field. Medworks' goal is to bridge cutting-edge psychiatric medicine with clinical practice, thus, meeting the highest digital standards in both medical journalism and electronic marketing. Medworks Media Inc. was founded in 1994 by it's publisher, James La Rossa. It's flagship journal, Psychopharmacology Bulletin (Thase, M.E.), has been in the Medworks library since 1999. Medworks other journals include T.E.N.– Trends in Evidence-Based Neuropsychiatry (Weissman, M), Mental Fitness (Yonkers, K), Psiquiatria y Salud Integral (Psychiatry and Integral Health, Mezzich, J), and a cancer journal, Oncology Spectrums (Von Hoff, D; Bootman, L), which specializes in integrated cancer medicine. La Rossa also founded Primary Psychiatry (1994) and CNS Spectrums (1997), two of the first psychiatric journals of their kind, both of which he sold in 2004. Medworks has the ability to tap into multiple mediums to effectively reach office and hospital-based physicians. Medwork's readers are a diverse group of professionals — from medical residents, psychiatric nurses and general practitioners — to the most heralded neuroscientists and physicians.
