I love the smell of nitro in the morning! Born seemingly with gasoline in my veins, since childhood I've been fascinated by all things mechanical, and in particular, planes, trains, and automobiles (and the John Candy/Steve Martin film is a favorite, too!) With more than 25 years in the automotive aftermarket, with more than 17 of those as a writer or editor for various automotive trade and enthusiast publications, I have a good grasp of where the automotive industry has been and where it's headed.
