Jennifer Ambolley is an award-winning journalist and communications specialist with expertise in health, environmental and Technology reporting. With over five years of experience, she has built a reputation for delivering stories on how digital systems—such as digital identity, e-governance, and financial inclusion—shape governance, media landscapes, and public services in Africa. She currently works as a journalist at The Chronicle Newspaper, where she conducts in-depth research, writes investigative stories, and covers pressing issues related to public health, business, and technology. She is also experienced in media strategy, communication management, and fact-checking. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Media, Arts, and Communication (UniMAC) and a Diploma in Communication Studies from the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ). Her exceptional work has earned her First Prize in the Print Category at the Merck Foundation “Diabetes & Hypertension” Media Recognition Awards (2023 – West Africa), and she was nominated for African Print Journalist of the Year at the Ladies in Media Awards (2023). She is a multi-fellowship recipient, including the Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) Journalism Fellowship 2024, Oxford Climate Journalism Network Fellowship (Cohort 7), CPHIA Journalism Fellowship 2023, and Clean Air Reporting Journalism Fellowship 2024. She also holds The Global Press Reporting Certificate in Narrative Change Technique (2024), strengthening her expertise in impactful storytelling. Her work spans fact-checking, digital literacy, and policy analysis, making her a trusted voice in DPI reporting, public health, environmental advocacy, and business journalism. Through her journalism, she continues to shape public policy, digital rights, and sustainable development narratives in Africa.
