Biography

Originally from Naracoorte, South Australia, I moved to Adelaide in 2020 to commence studying a Bachelor of Journalism and Professional Writing and a Bachelor of Arts (Creative Writing) at UniSA. Since then I have developed a passion for sharing rural and regional news, produced and hosted 2 radio shows for UniSA’s radio station UniCast, written several articles for the university’s publication On the Record, been a Student Ambassador for my degree for 3 years and completed an internship at the Yorke Peninsula Country Times. Additionally I’ve also produced written work for businesses and publications in my home region of the Limestone Coast. My main areas of interest are print journalism, broadcast and providing platforms for underrepresented regional and rural news stories. My main strengths lie in my writing ability, strong communication skills and ability to commit and remain organised when working on projects.
