Biography

I am a recent graduate from the University of Nottingham. During my studies, I wrote for both Impact Magazine and Her Campus Nottingham, covering news, politics, entertainment and opinion pieces. In 2023–24, I served as Social Media Manager for Her Campus. I created and scheduled content in Canva and InDesign, which strengthened our online presence and boosted follower engagement. The following year, as Head of Reviews, I edited and formatted articles in WordPress and built partnerships with local Nottingham venues, giving our writers access to campus and city events. Outside student media, I completed a non-fiction publishing internship at Spokesman Books. There, I honed my article writing, proofreading and editorial skills, learning to adapt my tone for different readerships. I am currently seeking an entry-level journalism role, or freelance opportunities to expand my portfolio.
