Biography
Well, if you must know ... I actually started in public relations, serving as the Sports Information Director at Kent State University (my alma mater) from August 1987 to September 1992. I moved to Toledo, Ohio in September of 1992 and joined the staff of The (Toledo) Blade from April 1993 to August 2018. I worked on the desk at times, and I was a writer who covered, at different times, the Toledo Mud Hens (Triple-A baseball), Bowling Green State University athletics, and area high school sports, among other things. I moved to Minnesota in September of 2018 and became a sports writer for the County News Review (then the Isanti County Times) in February of 2019. In February of 2020 I added duties as the Sports Editor of the Forest Lake Times. In May of 2022 I became the Managing Editor of the County News Review in Cambridge, MN. That's my current job.
