I’m a Rwandan journalist who has earned commendation for excellence in producing compelling coverage and in-depth analysis of issues affecting ordinary citizens in Rwanda, the wider East Africa. I focus mostly on matters business, conflict, politics and human rights and, more broadly as well, in the areas of governance and development. I previously worked as a full-time Writer for The EastAfrican, a regional weekly published by the Nation Media Group. I also worked for Radio Salus, Isango Star and KFM station. Currently, I contribute content to different publications on freelance basis, on top of publishing NewsPaper Africa https://newspaper.africa/ (formerly The Rwanda Post) , a digital news platform focusing on underreported social, political, economic issues and events in daily lives of communities across the African continent.
