Biography
I have written for Men’s Health, Men’s Fitness, Muscle & Fitness, GQ, Details, The New York Times, AskMen.com, ComedyCentral.com and many more. I currently write for Yahoo! Sports’ ThePostGame.com, where I contribute profiles on athletes as well as high-profile participatory journalism features. To that end, I've spent a game night as the Miami Heat's mascot, Burnice, trained for the 40 at the NFL Combine (didn't get drafted), ridden in a Monster Truck (didn't get killed) and even spent a night as a Duke fan on the road during a pivotal ACC game (again, didn't get killed). I've studied the science of how Nate Robinson can jump so high, dissected why Ray Allen can shoot so well, and I created a science for ranking our most athletic Presidents, among many other features. I am also the author of the book: The Dadvantage - Stay in Shape on No Sleep, with No Time and No Equipment. It has been a Top 10 Fatherhood book on Amazon, was featured on Extra! TV and has been endorsed by both Muscle & Fitness magazine and Men's Fitness magazine. I also wrote the fairly popular book, The Three Dollar Scholar, which was an expansion of my columns in both GQ magazine and Muscle & Fitness. It was featured across a wide variety of national publications, as well as on several appearances on SiriusXM satellite radio. I have appeared on a number of national radio shows and podcasts promoting my writing, and I hosted a sports/fitness podcast for AskMen.com called Man v. Myth.
