Biography
I'm a 30-year-old Canadian from Peterborough, Ontario with a passion for urban policy, food and public radio. I graduated with a degree in Canadian Studies from Trent University in 2010. Immediately after, I started at CBC Radio in Toronto as a Gzowski Intern - and continued to moonlight there as an associate producer. Today, I live in the border city of Windsor, Ontario where I am a reporter/editor for Afternoon Drive, CBC Radio's regional afternoon show for southwestern Ontario. I also produce a food column for CBC's three platforms: radio, television and online. Prior to joining the p.m. run, I was the associate producer and studio technician for CBC Radio's Windsor Morning. In 2016, my first book, entitled The Best of Windsor Cookbook was released by Biblioasis. It features more than 90 recipes from the region's best chefs and farmers. Outside the CBC, I completed a master's degree in urban planning from the University of Waterloo.

Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC)
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), also known as Radio-Canada in French, is Canada's national public broadcaster. Established in 1936, it provides a wide range of broadcasting services across radio, television, and online platforms. The CBC aims to deliver Canadian content and counter the influence of American programming. CBC operates several radio networks, including CBC Radio One and CBC Music, and launched CBC Listen in 2019 to integrate its radio, music, and podcast offerings. Its television services include a variety of programming such as news, dramas, comedies, and documentaries, with a dedicated documentary channel for feature-length films. CBC News is one of the largest news operations in Canada, providing comprehensive news coverage across multiple platforms. The CBC also maintains websites for English and French content, offering access to news and programs. Its content includes documentaries, music channels, and a diverse range of podcasts. As a public service broadcaster funded by the Canadian government, CBC's services are available to the general public across Canada.
