God is in the tv zine
God Is in the TV Zine, or GIITTV, is an independent music and cultural webzine based in the UK. Launched in 2003 by Bill Cummings and Alex Worsnip, it now covers a wide range of music including unsigned, independent and major releases.[1] God Is in the TV Zine is staffed by a range of professional and amateur music journalists,[citation needed] students and music lovers, and edited by Bill Cummings. In 2005 GIITTV put on an event in London's Pleasure compilation CD, it included bands like Luxembourg, The Art Goblins and 1984 (who went on to become Reverend and the Makers). In 2006, GIITTV released a compilation of underground acts including Rose Kemp, Penny Broadhurst, and The International Karate Plus.[2] On June 25, 2007, GIITTV launched their singles club, offering some exclusive free downloads.[3] In November 2009, GIITTV's Simon Catling won the Record Of The Day's Student Music Journalist Of The Year Award.[4] Other writers for the site have gone on to work for the NME, Clash Magazine, The Guardian and Drowned In Sound amongst others.
