Jown is a Multimedia Reporter at INQUIRER.net, where she covers a wide range of general assignment stories, including weather news, transportation, environment, education, consumer, PHIVOLCS, the Bureau of Fire Protection, crime, and other news updates. She graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Journalism from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2024. ​Jown has previously served as a News Intern in Rappler, covering Malacañang and the Congress. She was also an intern in FYT Media, a community-oriented independent media outfit, where she wrote and produced multimedia reports on the 2023 Barangay and SK Elections. Her most recent internship was with ABS-CBN News under TV Patrol. She assisted in segment production, floor direction, live coordination, scriptwriting, shooting and editing. She also worked as a News and Multimedia Staffer in Tinig ng Plaridel, her home college's official student publication. ​Apart from these, she was a member of various media organizations such as UP Radio Circle and UP Broadcasting Association.
