Biography
A seasoned transactional attorney, I turned to my first love of writing following the 2012 publication of my book, Fifty-Fifty, The Clarity of Hindsight. My legal commentary has appeared in The Asia Times and in the syndicated L.A.Daily Journal, and I've had the privilege of interviewing, among others, FGM survivors in Kenya, Solomon Islands High Court Chief Justice Sir Albert Palmer, Papua New Guinea Supreme Court Justice Ambeng Kandakari, former Israeli presidential candidate and Supreme Court Justice Dalia Dorner and Kingdom of Bhutan Supreme Court Chief Justice Lyonpo Tshering Wangchuk. Additionally, I am a travel columnist and for five years had my own column, "The Traveling Life" in The S.F. Examiner. My international features have also regularly appeared in the L.A. Times, The Jerusalem Post, The Honolulu Star-Advertiser, The Vancouver Courier and Money Inc. My stories have also appeared in Travel&Leisure and Westways Magazine and I have been a guest several times on Frommer's Travel Channel and Armed Forces Radio.
