Biography

Mr Juma Namlola is an experienced journalist with interest in human interest, health, court reporting and general politics of the East African region, with special interest in development issues spanning 25 years. A trainee in Leadership at Strathmore University, Juma has managed one of the biggest newsrooms in East and Central Africa for the past eight years, steering both newspaper and digital platforms to occupy their place as market leaders in delivery of quality content. With Masters in Development Communication from the University of Nairobi, his bias in news coverage is on development issues that concern the ordinary people. His opinions and commentaries usually focus on governance and service delivery. Juma is an accomplished author with three novels in Kiswahili published by Jomo Kenyatta Foundation and East African Educational Publishers.
