Kaitlyn Luna joined the News13 team as a digital producer in May 2020. She attended Francis Marion University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication with a focus on broadcast journalism. While in college, Kaitlyn interned with WBTW, accepting a job with the station after graduation. She got her start in journalism with FMU’s award winning newspaper, The Patriot. She has won many awards from the Associated Press for her journalism, editorial pieces, and photography. She has a passion for telling stories and bringing a voice to the voiceless.
