Biography

Katie Doyle is the SVP of content for Forbes Marketplace. She is an award-winning journalist who has led the editorial teams at Bankrate, HerMoney, Interest, Bargaineering and Bankaholic. For more than two decades, she has covered, assigned, and edited personal finance and related content at national web publications and newspapers. At Forbes Marketplace, she leads the global content teams for Forbes Advisor US, Forbes Advisor UK, Forbes Advisor India, Forbes Advisor Italy, Forbes Advisor Australia and Forbes Advisor Canada, where she defines, leads and executes on content strategy initiatives. Prior to Forbes, Katie launched, grew and managed HerMoney From Jean Chatzky, a personal finance site for women. Before HerMoney, Katie was a longtime editorial team leader for Bankrate and its owned and operated sites: Bankaholic, Bargaineering and Interest. Katie joined Bankrate in May 2005. She quickly moved to chief copy editor, where she was part of the team that earned a Society of Professional Journalists Sigma Delta Chi award for breaking news for Federal Reserve coverage, and she helped establish Bankrate’s presence on Facebook and Twitter. In July 2010, she was promoted to the director of content; in September 2011 she was named managing editor; and finally in 2015, she became executive editor, managing editorial operations. Before arriving at Bankrate, she copy edited for a magazine and newsletter publisher in Palm Beach County, Florida, and worked as a sports reporter and clerk for The Palm Beach Post.
