The Avondhu
The Avondhu newspaper was established in 1978, covering the areas of North East Cork, West Waterford, South Limerick and South Tipperary. A ‘paid for' title, with offices in the towns of Mitchelstown (primary) and Fermoy, this successful weekly - published Thursday's - boasts a readership in excess of 39,000 (print alone). The first edition was a modest 4-page edition, which has since grown to an average of 80 pages. Recently, our online presence has been greatly enhanced following on from a re-launch of our website, as well as the addition of several products to market which allow us to provide promotional solutions to any client's query. A digital edition of the newspaper is also available online, allowing our loyal readers to keep in touch with happenings from ‘home', wherever they may be.
