Biography

Katie Sanders is a NY-based freelance magazine journalist whose reporting pursuits have brought her to Norwegian prisons, JDate, and the White House South Lawn. Her work has appeared in Glamour, Vanity Fair, Marie Claire, Fast Company, Forbes, Refinery29, Teen Vogue, Seventeen, Business Insider, Black Enterprise, and Philadelphia, among other outlets. She was the founding editor-in-chief of The Well, a digital magazine for Black, Latinx, and Native American professionals and students. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, she began her career as an editorial assistant at Vanity Fair and a contributing editor at Glamour. Represented by InkWell Literary Management, she is currently working on long-form magazine features and a non-fiction book set in World War II France.
