Biography
I'm a senior and student journalist at Brown University, where I study public policy with a specialization in government, law and ethics. I'm passionate about local and narrative journalism. I've interned as a metro reporter at The News & Observer in Raleigh, NC and at Patch on Long Island, NY, and I've taken courses on political journalism and courts & justice reporting. I previously served as editor-in-chief and president of The Brown Daily Herald, Brown's independent student newspaper. As EIC, I managed a 275+ member staff and edited and oversaw news and opinions content daily. Before that, I served as a University News editor, and I covered student government and activism as a beat reporter. I'm driven by questions, caffeine, storytelling and plant-based food. I graduate from Brown in December 2022, and I'm seeking post-grad reporting opportunities. I'm particularly interested in covering courts, law and policy, with a focus on the people most impacted by decision-making, trends and developments in these areas.
