Biography

Born and raised in South Carolina, I have been a reporter since 2016. I began my journalism career at The Newberry Observer where I held that role until 2020. In the fall of 2020, I began working at The Clinton Chronicle where I reported and handled graphic design. I joined the Index-Journal in Greenwood, SC in 2022 where I was employed until 2024. In this role, I primarily covered public safety and courts along with general news stories. In 2024, I returned to The Newberry Observer where I currenlty serve as News Editor. In my free time, I enjoy watching scary movies, the New England Patriots, reading, and of course writing.

The Index-Journal is a daily newspaper published in Greenwood, SC. With the merger of two earlier papers, the Greenwood Evening Index and the Greenwood Daily Journal, the Index-Journal was founded in 1919. It now serves the Lakelands area, including Greenwood, Abbeville, as well as parts of McCormick and Saluda Counties.
