As a food and travel writer, I have a unique perspective. I was the global PR director for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts leading 11 PR agencies and creating press-worthy programs for Rosewood, including the children's program, sustainability program and many food and beverage programs. I've opened hotels, rebranded hotels and worked inside of hotels. I'm a former restaurant owner. My husband and I owned and operated a fast-casual restaurant chain. I've led marketing, operations, training and P&L meetings. I've worked in restaurants and taken cooking classes. I know the ins and outs and love telling stories about the industry. I'm a member of Les Dames d'Escoffier International and served as president of the Dallas chapter and serve as vice president on the LDE International board.
