Biography

I'm Kevin, a visual journalist working as often as I can in the blurred spaces between photography and video. While I regularly make video features and take photo assignments for newspapers here in Denver, my goal is to tell deeper stories in novel formats. This includes taking on projects meant for live installation, or digital stories that join still images, motion, and sound in custom web interfaces. I use my film school education and experience working in commercial production, web development, and graphic design to up the ante in my presentation. The hope for all this creative conceptualization is to do justice to the true stories that play out in front of my lens. I'm motivated by compassion and the thought that visual media can imbue that kind of empathy on an audience.
