Biography

Kevin is a Pulitzer Prize winning photojournalist for the online daily news organization Lookout Santa Cruz, the magazine Growing Up In Santa Cruz and a contributing photographer for Aptos Times. He was previously a photographer for the Santa Cruz Sentinel newspaper. Kevin Painchaud has taken photos for varies publications over the past 25 years. His photographs have been seen in news sites nationwide, including ABC news, CBS news, CNN, MSNBC and more. Kevin Painchaud is also an award-winning director, producer, cinematographer and editor. Kevin has been involved in video production for over 25 years and has produced several feature films, directed numerous TV shows and shot and edited countless corporate, consumer, training and promotional videos. He was nominated for an Emmy Award for his music-oriented TV show called Muzic on the Edge and he directed PSAs for Aerosmith. Kevin has been involved in productions around the world, including the United States, Europe, Canada, and Mexico.
