Biography

I'm a first-generation journalist, I came into the business with no legacy laid before me or any particular reason why I should have been drawn into doing this work over dozens of other professions and trades. I had a good start, a lot has been rough since about the age of 27, the last 10 years I've written, edited, produced and planned primarily to give myself something to do and to spite any and everyone who could care less about the voice and opinion of an otherwise voiceless product of the South Side of Chicago and my allegiances have primarily been with those like me. I appreciate any and all opportunities given to me but I won't beg and my willingness to compromise is pretty much non-existent at this point. Sorry, its what you made me.
