Biography
I am a journalist and children's book author based in Cape Town, South Africa. I write a monthly column for Cape Community Media called Living Large about having a large family - I have seven daughters, the eldest and youngest are 16 years apart. I also write regular book reviews for Cape Community Media, Netgalley and Goodreads. I share my writing on my Instagram account @authorlaurenoconnormay and have a good following but hesitate to call myself an influencer and bookstagrammer. I have, to date, written one children's book, The Dream House Adventures, published by Penguin Random House in April 2025 and it has been translated into two languages.
