Biography

Libby Gray (formerly Giesbrecht) has always loved communicating through words and stories. Since 2017, she has worked for CHVN Radio (Golden West Broadcasting) as a Summer Events and On-Air Host. Her work has been published in the University of Winnipeg's "Uniter," Providence University College's "Eyewitness" Magazine, and online at chvnradio.com, classic107.com, steinbachonline.com, reachfm.ca, ink.urjschool.ca, cjme.com and ckom.com. In spring 2019, Libby graduated with a BA in Criminal Justice from the University of Winnipeg. She received her Master of Journalism at the University of Regina in October 2021 and is working as a reporter, anchor and producer at 650 CKOM in Saskatoon. In 2023, Libby won her first RTDNA regional award for her feature piece "Entrer Poķwîspi (Enter Anytime): Opening the Door to a Lost Language" with 650 CKOM.
