Liz Highleyman was named editor-in-chief of HIVandHepatitis.com in February 2011. She is medical writer and editor who has covered HIV and viral hepatitis for more than 15 years, since getting involved with AIDS advocacy as a member of ACT UP/Boston in the late 1980s. She has written for publications including Achieve (ACRIA), Aidsmap and HIV Treatment Update (NAM), GMHC Treatment Issues, HCV Advocate, POZ, Positively Aware, and The Well Project.
