I am a Brazilian journalist based in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. My work has been featured in BBC News Brazil, Mongabay, The Intercept Brazil, Veja, Folha de S.Paulo, UOL, O Globo and O Estado de S.Paulo, among others. I have single-authored three books and co-organized another one. I'm also a writer, translator, editor, professor and academic researcher on Journalism and International Relations. I have a master's degree in Communication and Information from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2013) and am a Ph.D. candidate in International Strategic Studies at the same university. Currently I work on a biography of Brazilian art critic and intellectual Mario Pedrosa (1900-1981) to be released soon by Record publishing house.
