Biography

I’m currently writing for the Minneapolis Star Tribune, where I cover K-12 schools in Minneapolis. I previously worked on a team covering the Twin Cities suburbs. Before coming to Minnesota, I spent two years at the Omaha World-Herald. I'm a 2016 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's College of Journalism and Mass Communications. In college, I held internships at the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and the Lincoln Journal Star. Through the Global Eyewitness program at UNL, chasing stories has also taken me to Sherpa communities in Nepal, dusty villages in Ecuador and homes stilted above the turquoise waters off the coast of Nicaragua.
