Biography

A longtime reporter and editor, Baram has written for The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Village Voice, New York magazine, and the New York Daily News. He edits and writes stories on the economy, climate change, and income inequality for Capital & Main. Currently, he's also a contributing editor at Crain Currency, where he writes feature stories and conducts interviews with investors and entrepreneurs. He recently completed an in-depth reporting project on wage theft for Documented NY as part of ProPublica's Local Reporting Network.
