Biography

I'm a freelance writer, editor, and marketing communications professional working with clients across the US and Canada. I write the Muck Rack Daily newsletter and also contribute to a variety of trade magazines and other media outlets. Prior to my freelance career, I worked in senior-level B2B marketing and creative services roles, specifically in the commercial real estate, logistics, and training/HR industries. Based in Nashville, I grew up in Shreveport, LA, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Writing from Tulane University in New Orleans. I've participated in the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop (Literary Nonfiction) and the Colgate Writers' Conference (Short Fiction), where I've had the opportunity to sharpen the writing that feeds my soul—if not necessarily my dogs and cat.
