American Blues Scene

The American Blues Scene Magazine, founded in November 2010, is the market leader in blues music news. By using the well-established music and blues industry connections of it's founders, American Blues Scene rapidly gained readership and popularity. Creative and unique marketing, as well as establishing a strong social media network, has continued to fuel a rapid but managable growth in readership. As of November, 2013, American Blues Scene has over 400,000 yearly website visitors, 90,000 fans on Facebook, 9,000 followers on Twitter, and a hit print magazine with a unique and innovative circulation. With innovative and interesting content featuring Gregg Allman, Buddy Guy, Dr. John, Joe Bonamassa, Vintage Trouble, and many more, the ability to recognize the blues as the basis for modern and popular music has allowed the American Blues Scene to broaden it's readership to a larger music audience beyond the blues niche market. The American Blues Scene Staff consists of six regular writers, a full-time editor, an Account Executive, a Social Media Manager, two staff photographers, and a number of regular photographers and writers to capture blues events across the country. Embracing the value of content delivery and social engagement, American Blues Scene has put a strong emphasis on social media as a tool for growth and development. As a result, a widespread digital circulation allows the publication to maintain a cost-effective content distribution method while focusing on regular and continuous output of interesting and original content that can be used to engage readers far beyond the original print date.
